The secret of their success, believes co-founder Khalsa Al Rawahi, is being Omani. The backgrounds of the co-founders play a large part in the creation of Mashhad Oman and its outlook. Khalsa Al Rawahi was born in Muscat and raised in a small village. She graduated from university as an architect engineer, after which she worked as in private and government sectors and trained in Dubai in an international German construction company. Throughout her early career Khalsa discovered her love of architecture, art, design and photography, and combined them all in her first self-published book, the ‘Charm of Simplicity’. Khalsa is the Business and Creative Design Lead at Mashhad Oman, and during her free time she loves to transform neglected furniture into beautiful pieces.

Huda Al Jahwari also grew up in a small village and was inspired by the designs she perceived in the natural world to learn more about buildings and architecture. Having graduated from university in architecture, her early career saw her learning about site inspection and the construction process as well as design. The co-founders’ varied experiences and skills have given Mashhad Oman a unique ability in the designing and building of functional and inspiring structures. By specialising in creative, innovative, functional, cost-effective and minimalist designs, Mashhad Oman is able to stay true to its beliefs while achieving the very best for their clients.
