Luxury People Magazine Issue 6 Is Here, With One Big Question for Luxury

Issue 6 of Luxury People Magazine, the official magazine of the World Luxury Chamber of Commerce (WLCC), has arrived, and this edition starts with a question worth asking: What does luxury mean today?

On the cover is Rachel Walsh, recently appointed CMO of Moët Hennessy UK, whose career has taken her across luxury, fashion, and sports lifestyle. In the cover story, Why Meaning Matters More Than Attention, Walsh talks about earning attention rather than chasing it, finding an authentic place in culture, and why the smallest brand details can make the biggest impression.

And that is just the beginning.

Issue 6 moves across the business of luxury, with interviews, opinions, market intelligence, and first-hand perspectives from the people working inside it. Readers will find conversations on personalized luxury travel with Achilleas Koukkos of VILLABEAT, changing expectations in yachting with Cannes Yachting Festival Director Constance Brément, and the meeting point between performance, fashion, and contemporary golf with Ka Ho, Creative Director of HEAD Golf.

The issue also takes a closer look at luxury architecture with Lucila Aguilar, where natural materials, craftsmanship, technology, and environmental responsibility come together, while Lina Bustillo challenges the traditional geography of luxury through the craftsmanship and provenance of Latin America’s Wayuu communities.

For readers focused on the business behind the brands, Issue 6 examines the ESG regulations luxury executives should be watching in 2026, international luxury property investment ahead of LPS Shanghai, and the growing role of fashion and hospitality partnerships through Lilly Pulitzer’s Summer 2026 campaign at Coral Sands in the Bahamas.

Elsewhere in the issue, readers will hear from Jason Margetts on trust in luxury real estate, Anu Ruohosto on emotion and modern perfumery, Lancia Soans on art, gifting, and meaningful relationships, Kirk Chamberlain on boutique service in luxury property, Vanessa Fukunaga on people-first leadership, Chris and Ryan Raveis on five decades of family-led real estate, Dan Lavender on hospitality and wellbeing in luxury senior living, Elizabeth Janowski on confidence and trust, and Najeeb Amin Pardesi on creating places people value. Also featured are James Phillips on the continued relevance of print, Adam Busby on attention in a world of constant notifications, Martin Betant on trust in luxury media, and Santoni on personalization through its One of One concept.

One Issue, One Very Big Question

Issue 6 also looks ahead to World Luxury Day on October 8, 2026

This year, WLCC is taking the celebration further with the launch of the first World Luxury Day Manifesto, a collective publication inviting luxury professionals around the world to answer one deceptively simple question: What does luxury mean today? Selected contributions will be included in the inaugural Manifesto, with contributors recognized as co-authors.

“Luxury is ultimately defined by the people who create it, deliver it, and experience it. World Luxury Day gives the global luxury community an opportunity to put those perspectives into words and consider the values we want luxury to represent,” says Alexander Chetchikov, President of the World Luxury Chamber of Commerce

From brand building and hospitality to real estate, yachting, sustainability, media, craftsmanship, and design, Issue 6 brings together perspectives from across the global luxury industry, with one question running throughout: What does luxury mean today?
