A new era in interior design emerges with Luminous Flow: A Therapeutic Realm by L’atelier Fantasia. Situated on the 25th floor of the iconic One Park Taipei, this transformed high-rise apartment pioneers a lifestyle centered on emotional well-being, sustainability, and refined elegance. The project has been honored with the Best Luxury Apartment Interior Design in Taiwan 2025 award by Luxury Lifestyle Awards.

Founded in 2009 and led by Chief Designer Idan Chiang, L’atelier Fantasia is distinguished by its integration of art, sociology, and sensory awareness. With Luminous Flow, the studio transformed a traditional luxury apartment into a wellness-oriented living space, crafted to meet the client’s desire for an emotionally restorative home featuring aquatic visuals and chromotherapy elements.

At the center of the design is a striking balcony installation that merges visual serenity with therapeutic function. A wrap-around fish tank serves as both a living ecosystem and a dynamic light therapy feature. The lighting system responds to emotional cues, using calming hues like blue, green, and purple to set the mood. Visible from the main living space through floor-to-ceiling windows, this feature is both a focal point and a calming presence.

Sustainability played a vital role in every design decision. The team prioritized environmentally responsible materials, working with suppliers certified by EcoVadis. Fixtures from Hansgrohe were selected for their water-saving technology and long-term performance, aligning with the client’s desire for eco-conscious solutions without sacrificing visual appeal. Recyclable materials and strategies to reduce construction waste were also implemented throughout the project.

Designing with ecological awareness in mind presented challenges. Sourcing materials that met both sustainability goals and design standards required careful coordination. Yet the team succeeded in creating a home that retains the architectural elegance of the original structure while embodying a refreshed sense of purpose. The result is a living space that is equally attuned to nature and contemporary urban life.

L’atelier Fantasia contributed a full range of services to this renovation, including conceptual development, lighting and material specification, interior styling, sustainability consultation, and project supervision.
