The company’s winning project, Bellagio, is located in Hong Kong and was designed to “bring New York loft-style into a warm and comfy nest”. With an area of 755 sq ft. Net, this spacious apartment is ideal for 2 people.

littleMORE maintains that home is a place where your soul feels peace. What homeowners wish for is not only a fresh makeover of the abode but also a cozy nest that allows intimate interaction between its inhabitants.

The long windowless wall along the dining room made the entire apartment look dark and dull, so to create a balmy and delightful ambiance, the kitchen wall opposite the dining room was torn down and replaced with a sliding glass door and a mid-waist high kitchen island. This allows sunlight to penetrate the space softly and enhances the connection between the two zones.

A lattice window wall has been installed along the upper part of the study wall facing the sitting and dining rooms, which makes the whole living area look larger than it really is. Similar to the sliding glass door in the kitchen, this lattice window wall also helps strengthen the interaction between the homeowners even when they are not in the same room.

Colour, materials, and lighting are the little details that make the difference, in littleMORE’s experience. The apricot wall next to the dining table, the rusty orange sofa, the dirty pink wallpaper in the master bedroom as well as the greyish green tone in the kitchen and the guest room complement one another harmoniously, without overwhelming the overall aesthetic.

Passionate about sustainability and preserving the environment, littleMORE has replaced solid walls with glass screens to maximize natural sunlight to penetrate the space and increase energy efficiency. The use of LED lighting helps to reduce electricity consumption and carbon footprint in the process.  Fixtures are bespoke to allow more flexibility for the client’s future home planning, thus reducing wastage of furniture disposal.
