Imperium Group: Redefining Luxury Interior Design with Minimalism

Imperium Group

Imperium Group has once again proven why they are one of the most sought-after names in the interior design industry with their recent accolade presented by Luxury Lifestyle Awards in the category of Best Luxury Interior Visualization and Design for A Minimalist Sanctuary in Abu Dhabi, UAE, 2023.

Minimalist Sanctuary is a stunning example of the company’s design skill and is a testament to the group’s philosophy of less is more. The “Less is More” Philosophy is key to Minimalistic Interior Design and focuses on employing the bare necessities to create simple and clean rooms. The key component is eliminating the unneeded and the unnecessary.

The company further believes that each client has specific needs, so Imperium Group has assembled a group of renowned international interior designers and architects who have been trained to meet those needs by delivering high-quality work, using superior materials, submitting in a timely manner, and staying within the allocated budget, and Minimalist Sanctuary is no exception.

This luxurious villa is a true masterpiece and visual treat that blends contemporary design with minimalist aesthetics to create a serene living space. Moreover, Imperium Group’s ability to blend modern luxury with minimalist aesthetics has truly set it apart from its peers. It showcases its keen eye for detail, its flawless sense of style, and its ability to create spaces that are not only visually stunning but also functional.

Upon entering the property, the sanctuary-like atmosphere permeates the entire space. Words that come to mind are tranquillity, peace, and restfulness, and they can be seen in both small and large aspects, including shape, furniture, and material composition.

The 940 sqm home reveals itself through precise, orthogonal forms, minimal use of colour, and strategically placed lighting, which accentuates and enriches the exterior’s character. To bring out the essential core of a structure, minimalist architecture employs plain, uncomplicated architectural features devoid of embellishment and decoration. Minimalist Sanctuary is the perfect example of this.

The villa’s interiors are spacious and airy, with large floor-to-ceiling windows that let in an abundance of natural light, adding to the overall sense of openness and calmness. The project boasts clean lines, muted colours, and a sense of serenity that is both calming and inviting. The use of natural materials such as wood and stone adds warmth and texture to the space, while the carefully curated furnishings and accessories thoughtfully placed, add a touch of elegance and sophistication to the space without detracting from the minimalist aesthetic.

The inside of the building displays the architecture’s serene character. The team concentrated on removing as many obstacles as possible while creating the layout in order to establish a seamless visual link between different regions of the ground floor.

The ground floor of the home has an open layout with a welcoming yet dramatic green space in the middle for family and visitors. The home’s central biophilic garden can be seen from many different rooms and angles, as well as from the first-floor void, giving one a firm understanding of the idea. Biophilic gardens are spaces designed to connect people with nature and promote well-being through the integration of natural elements such as plants, water, and wildlife. The concept of biophilia suggests that humans have an innate need to connect with the natural world.

The men’s majlis design adheres to the principles of soft interiors, enhancing comfort while prioritizing utility above ornamentation. The few décor items are carefully chosen for their sculptural quality.

This theme continues throughout. In the family room, the subtleness of the colours and textures that envelop sculptural objects create the ideal setting for the family to congregate, engage and interact. The children’s rooms on the other hand, with the soft neutral tones, foster kids’ inventiveness and stimulate curiosity.

The outdoor space of the villa is just as impressive as the interior and features a quiet courtyard at the center of the building offering a lovely hideaway for the family.

Imperium Group

Imperium Group’s attention to detail and commitment to quality is evident in every aspect of the Minimalist Sanctuary project. From the initial concept and design to the final execution, the group has left no stone unturned, creating a space that is not only visually stunning but also functional and comfortable. An exemplary project that will continue to inspire and influence the design industry for years to come.
