Heritance Aarah: Leaving the Hectic World Behind

The Maldives has turned the fantasies of many thousands of people about life in the style of Robinson Crusoe into reality. Most local resorts offer paradisiacal vacations in colorful wooden bungalows with thatched roofs, surrounded by swaying palm trees, with soft white sand underfoot and a magnificent view of the azure waters of the Indian Ocean. But Heritance Aarah, this year’s winner of the Luxury Lifestyle Awards in the category of The Best Luxury All-Inclusive Resorts in Asia, goes further. Welcome to a resort that is setting new standards for a dream vacation!

Heritance Aarah is a premium all-inclusive luxury five-star resort that opened in 2018 and is the first property of the Sri Lankan famous brand Aitken Spence Hotels and Resorts in the Maldives. To get to the Raa Atoll, where the resort is located, you have to take a 40-minute seaplane flight from Male, during which you will fully enjoy the beautiful sea views. This remoteness creates the seclusion and tranquility many tourists desire. The resort has no view of other islands or neighboring resorts, which only makes it more enchanting and like a true paradise away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The guests of Heritance Aarah have a choice of 150 villas, including 56 sunset ocean villas, 68 land villas, and 26 luxury duplex ocean suites. Most villas offer 24-hour private butler service, and some have a private pool and beach access. All villas provide a luxurious experience with simple but stylish decor. High-quality amenities are available to guests, including spacious bathrooms with large bathtubs, rainfall showers, minibars, Marshall speakers, Wi-Fi, and flat-screen TVs.

The resort team is constantly doing an excellent job of providing comprehensive services to entertain guests. Raa Atoll is a deep archipelago that allows diving and snorkeling within meters of the shore. However, the list of available water activities runs deeper and also includes kite surfing, canoeing, catamaran sailing, jet skiing, and much more. You can also enjoy the two swimming pools, tennis courts, beach soccer and volleyball fields while your kids have fun with their peers at Koka Kid’s Club.

Heritance Aarah has six restaurants, five of which are included in all-inclusive packages. It’s no exaggeration to say that every dish on the resort’s restaurant menus is prepared with outstanding skill and care. The Luxury Lifestyle Awards experts have praised the skills of the kitchen teams, but Ambula Restaurant, which offers a delicious nine-course Sri Lankan-Maldivian meal, has deserved special mention. You’ll also find four bars on the island, where experienced and talented bartenders offer a wide selection of wines, exotic drinks, and their own innovative cocktails.

The resort boasts a medi-spa unique to the Maldives, offering traditional spa treatments, cosmetic services, non-invasive medical procedures, including non-surgical face lifts, skin peels, micro- and nano-needling. Professional trainers and nutritionists help the guests with wellness and fitness programs.

Heritance Aarah is committed to sustainability, implementing various methods to reduce the resort’s impact on the environment. That is why, for example, no plastic is used here, and even toothbrushes are made of bamboo. This responsible approach made Heritance Aarah the first in the Maldives to receive the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification.
