GLAMOROUS co.,ltd. was established in 2000. The following year, at the youthful age of thirty-four, Morita was instrumental in the famous and grand, one-of-a-kind, station and Plaza, known as Randen Arashiyama Station, even though it was originally only assigned for a renovation. Today, this station is still as on trend and as relevant as it was twenty years ago. An incredible achievement for such a young designer at the time. Consequently, his business quickly gained recognition in the designing world and expanded to New York, London, and Beijing. Soon his genius and forward-thinking ability earned him world-wide respect as his winning designs become more and more sought after in Paris, Doha, and other major cities.

That being said, this highly respected and accomplished designer’s sense of drama, excitement and style is clearly what sets the Teppanyaki MYDO Restaurant, Osaka apart.

In a league of its own, the skilful interior layout is ingeniously based on a Japanese paper lantern and the play of light, curved lines, and glossy black materials to reflect the light- thereby creating a sense of depth. This together with the combination of white and gold, and black and silver on opposite facing walls, creates two completely different “looks”. Despite the drama and playful theme, the space as a whole is unified by original paint, art, typography and various other materials. The sheer splendour and mastery behind this design and creation, is especially evident at night, both outside and in!

Another one of GLAMOROUS co.,ltd.’s winning designs was THE TOKYO, a high-end clothing retailer and it’s easy to see why. The space is an ergonomic design, where design meets functional, characterised by calm and sophisticated, neutral tones of white, grey, black and gold, combined with clean lines, while the focal point of the space is accentuated with shades of regal royal blues and gold, and balanced with circular lines, echoed in the circular ceiling of the focal point and round mirrors strategically placed throughout the retail space. The lighting is key, and has been skilfully considered to set the scene, from functional to ambient. The result? An aesthetically pleasing and classical space that showcases the classical garments on display.

It seems natural then, with such diverse talent that GLAMOROUS co.,ltd. was further voted as a well-deserved winner by Luxury Lifestyle Awards for Best Luxury Villa Interior Design for Private Villa Faced Ocean in Japan.  This villa is unique and beautiful in every aspect.
