Alexander Chetchikov, President of the World Luxury Chamber of Commerce, hosts our exclusive interview. With over 18 years of experience honoring the world’s most revered luxury brands through the Luxury Lifestyle Awards, he brings a wealth of expertise and a refined perspective on the ever-evolving luxury landscape.

Alexander Chetchikov: Congratulations on your 2026 Luxury Lifestyle Awards, Mahmoud! Luxury means different things to different people. After more than 16 years working with discerning clients, how has your own definition of luxury evolved, and how does Nuvō Concierge bring that philosophy to life?
Mahmoud Ewidah: I believe the meaning of luxury has changed significantly over the years. Today, it is no longer defined by what you own, but by how you live. For me, true luxury is having the freedom to focus on what matters most, knowing that every detail is being handled with care, discretion, and absolute confidence.
Over the years, I’ve come to realize that the clients who have access to everything aren’t looking for more choices. They’re looking for simplicity, trust, and the confidence that someone truly understands their preferences without them having to explain every detail. That realization became one of the principles on which I founded Nuvō Concierge.
No two clients define luxury in exactly the same way. For one, it might be a private family journey where every detail has been thoughtfully arranged. For another, it could be securing access to an experience that simply isn’t available to the public. Our role is never to assume what luxury looks like. It’s to understand what it means to each client and deliver it with precision, discretion, and genuine care.
We never measure our success by the number of requests we fulfil or the destinations we cover. We measure it by the trust our clients place in us, the relationships we build over time, and the confidence they have that, whatever the request, it will be handled to the highest standard.
At its heart, luxury is peace of mind. It’s the reassurance that someone who truly understands you is already taking care of the details, allowing you to simply enjoy the experience.
AC: You often say that “experiences shape how people remember brands.” How has that philosophy shaped the way you built Nuvō Concierge, and what sets the company apart in today’s evolving luxury landscape?
ME: I’ve always believed that exceptional experiences don’t happen by accident. They’re the result of thoughtful planning, genuine relationships, and an unwavering attention to detail.
Throughout my career, I saw that the brands people remained loyal to weren’t always the ones with the biggest names or the largest budgets. They were the ones that made people feel understood, valued, and cared for. That insight fundamentally shaped the way I built Nuvō Concierge.
From day one, our focus has never been on simply fulfilling requests. It’s about understanding the person behind the request. Two clients may ask for the same destination or the same event, but the experience should never be identical because every client is different.
I also believe that true luxury cannot be scaled in the same way as other businesses. That’s why we’ve deliberately built Nuvō as a boutique concierge. We value long-term relationships over high volumes, and quality over quantity. That allows us to remain agile, highly responsive, and genuinely personal in everything we do.
Ultimately, what sets Nuvō apart isn’t just the experiences we arrange. It’s the confidence our clients have that every recommendation is made with their best interests in mind, every detail has been considered, and every interaction reflects the level of care they expect from a trusted partner.

AC: Your career has taken you across several luxury and customer-centric industries, from fashion and automotive to telecommunications and hospitality. Looking back, what are the most valuable lessons those experiences taught you, and how do they continue to influence the way you lead Nuvō Concierge today?
ME: One lesson has stayed with me throughout my career: no matter the industry, people remember how you make them feel long after they forget the details of a transaction. Whether I was working in fashion, automotive, telecommunications, or hospitality, the principle was always the same: trust is earned through consistency, honesty, and delivering on your promises.
Another lesson was that excellence is built behind the scenes. Clients only see the final experience, but what they don’t see is the planning, coordination, and countless small details that make everything appear effortless. I’ve always believed that if an experience looks simple, it’s because a great deal of thought has gone into making it that way.
Those lessons continue to guide the way we operate at Nuvō Concierge. We pay close attention to the details, communicate transparently, and never lose sight of the responsibility that comes with our clients’ trust. Every request, whether simple or complex, deserves the same level of care because, from the client’s perspective, every detail matters.
Ultimately, luxury isn’t just about exceeding expectations on one occasion. It’s about delivering the same level of excellence every time, so that trust becomes the foundation of every relationship.
AC: Modern luxury is increasingly defined by personalization, trust, and seamless execution rather than ownership alone. How do you anticipate your clients’ needs before they even make a request, and why is anticipation becoming the ultimate luxury?
ME: I don’t believe anticipation comes from trying to predict what a client wants. It comes from taking the time to truly understand them.
At Nuvō Concierge, one of our guiding principles is Anticipation. The more we know about our clients, their lifestyle, preferences, and the way they like to travel or celebrate important moments, the more naturally we can anticipate their needs. It’s not about making assumptions; it’s about building relationships that allow us to stay one step ahead.
That philosophy sits alongside two other principles that define the way we work: Meaning and Access. Every recommendation should have a purpose, every experience should be meaningful to the individual, and every opportunity should provide access that genuinely adds value. Anticipation is what connects those principles and brings them to life.
I believe that’s why anticipation has become one of the greatest luxuries today. In a world where time is increasingly valuable, there’s something incredibly reassuring about working with someone who already understands what’s important to you. When that happens, luxury no longer feels like a service; it simply feels effortless.

AC: Nuvō Concierge serves a discerning clientele ranging from family offices and private banking clients to ultra-high-net-worth individuals. How do you balance consistency in service excellence while creating highly individualized experiences for every client?
ME: People often assume that consistency and personalization are opposites, but I believe they go hand in hand.
Consistency should exist in how you deliver your service, not in the experience itself. Every client should receive the same level of professionalism, responsiveness, discretion, and attention to detail. Those standards never change.
What does change is the experience we create. No two clients have the same priorities, lifestyle, or definition of luxury, so our role is to adapt while maintaining the same uncompromising standard behind the scenes.
My background in operational excellence taught me that personalization isn’t the opposite of consistency; it depends on it. When the foundations are strong, you have the freedom to tailor every experience to the individual without compromising quality or attention to detail.
Whether we’re supporting a family office, a private banking client, or someone celebrating a once-in-a-lifetime occasion, our objective is always the same: to make every client feel that the experience was designed specifically for them, delivered with the consistency and confidence they can always rely on.
AC: Dubai has become one of the world’s leading luxury destinations. In your opinion, how has the city’s luxury ecosystem evolved, and what opportunities does it create for concierge services that deliver exceptional access and bespoke experiences?
ME: Dubai has evolved into far more than a luxury destination. Today, it’s a global hub where business, culture, hospitality, and innovation come together in a way that very few cities can match.
What makes Dubai unique isn’t just the quality of its hotels, restaurants, or retail. It’s the pace at which the city reinvents itself. There’s always something new to discover, whether it’s a world-class cultural institution, a major sporting event, an exceptional dining concept, or an entirely new lifestyle experience. That constant evolution creates endless opportunities for both residents and international visitors.
For a company like Nuvō Concierge, being based in Dubai is a tremendous advantage. The city connects us effortlessly to Europe, Asia, Africa, and beyond, while also attracting some of the world’s most discerning travellers and influential decision-makers. It has become a natural meeting point for our international clientele.
More importantly, Dubai reflects the same mindset we strive to bring to our clients: ambitious, forward-thinking, and constantly raising the standard. It’s an environment that encourages innovation, values excellence, and rewards those who are committed to delivering exceptional experiences.

AC: Beyond arranging extraordinary travel, exclusive events, and bespoke lifestyle services, Nuvō Concierge aims to create peace of mind for its members. How do you define success when the most valuable outcome is something as intangible as confidence, trust, and effortless living?
ME: Success in our business is rarely measured by the experience itself. It’s measured by what that experience allows our clients to do, feel, or enjoy.
If a family can spend uninterrupted time together because every detail has been taken care of, that’s success. If a business leader can focus entirely on an important meeting without worrying about the logistics surrounding their trip, that’s success. If a client simply enjoys an evening knowing everything has been thoughtfully arranged, that’s success.
Those moments may seem small, but they’re often the ones people remember most. Our role isn’t just to organise exceptional experiences; it’s to remove friction from our clients’ lives so they can be fully present for the moments that matter.
For me, peace of mind is one of the greatest luxuries anyone can offer. It’s built through consistency, discretion, and the confidence that, regardless of the request, someone is looking after every detail with the same care they would expect themselves.
When a client no longer has to think about the process and can simply enjoy the outcome, that’s when I know we’ve done our job well.
AC: As an entrepreneur, author, and customer experience specialist, you continue to shape conversations around the future of luxury. Looking ahead, what trends do you believe will redefine luxury concierge services over the next few years, and how is Nuvō Concierge preparing to lead that transformation?
ME: I believe the future of luxury concierge isn’t about doing more. It’s about becoming more relevant.
Today’s clients have access to more information, technology, and choices than ever before. What they value most isn’t another booking platform or endless options, but trusted judgement, meaningful relationships, and the confidence that someone truly understands their preferences and priorities.
Technology, including artificial intelligence, will undoubtedly play an increasingly important role in our industry. It will help us become more efficient, more responsive, and even more proactive. But I don’t believe technology will ever replace the human qualities that define true luxury: empathy, intuition, discretion, and genuine relationships. The future belongs to businesses that combine innovation with a deeply personal approach.
As our international client base continues to grow, we’re expanding our global network through carefully selected partnerships and trusted relationships, ensuring we can deliver the same Nuvō experience wherever our clients choose to travel, live, or do business.
Ultimately, our ambition is not simply to grow. It’s to continue raising the standard of modern luxury concierge while remaining true to the principles that have guided us from the beginning: creating meaningful experiences, providing exceptional access, and anticipating our clients’ needs with genuine care. If people come to associate Nuvō with those values, then I believe we will have achieved something truly lasting.

Thank you, Mahmoud, for sharing your inspiring journey and valuable insights with us. We congratulate you and the entire Nuvō Concierge team on this outstanding recognition.
