Mr. Sylvain Croise: Secana Beachtown Resort & Residences embodies the perfect fusion of urban luxury and Bali’s tropical charm, located near Berawa Beach. We ensure this blend is reflected in both the design and the warm, welcoming hospitality that Bali is renowned for.

LLA: Since Secana Beachtown opened in May 2024, what aspects of the resort have received the most positive feedback from guests, and how have you incorporated that feedback into enhancing the guest experience?

SC: We’ve received a lot of positive feedback on various aspects of the Secana Beachtown. Notably, guests have praised the design of the villas and lofts, the rooftop Secana Pool Club, the cozy atmosphere, and the beautiful beach and sea views. Additionally, the quality of the equipment and the diversity of programs at the Saya Gym have been well received. To create an exceptional guest experience, we’re committed to providing outstanding service, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere, and offering delicious, high-quality food. 

LLA: Secana Beachtown was recently awarded the 2024 Luxury Lifestyle Awards for Best Luxury New Resort in Canggu. How does this recognition impact the team and your approach to maintaining such high standards of service?

SC: The team and management received this award with great enthusiasm. It recognizes our recent implementation of procedures, training, and the daily effort of our team, which has made everyone feel proud.

LLA: Personalization is a key focus at Secana Beachtown, with bespoke services and experiences tailored to each guest. Could you share some of the most unique or memorable experiences the resort has created for its guests?

SC: We strive to provide highly personalized for our guests, taking into account their dietary preferences. We create welcome hampers tailored to individual tastes and our Executive Chef, Antok personally engages with restaurant guests to craft special dishes. Similarly, Bayu our Secana Pool Club Manager, offers unique cocktail recommendations. Additionally, Sinead our Saya Gym manager designs customized programs for our guests.

LLA: Secana Beachtown is situated in the vibrant neighborhood of Canggu. How do you balance the lively energy of the area with creating a serene, luxurious atmosphere for your guests?

SC: Secana Beach front is perfectly situated in the lively Canggu, Berawa area, just a stone’s throw from the largest beach clubs, nightclubs and various dining options. The layout of our resort creates a unique oasis of tranquility for our guests and residents, allowing them to experience peace and safety right in the heart of Bali’s top entertainment hub.

LLA: The resort offers a range of wellness services, from yoga to meditation and spa treatments. How important is wellness to the overall philosophy of Secana Beachtown, and how do you ensure guests leave feeling rejuvenated?

SC: Wellness is a fundamental part of the philosophy at Secana Beachtown, catering to our in-house guests as well as the local and expatriate community in Canggu. Sinead, our Gym Manager, and her team of personal trainers offer a variety of classes, including Pilates, Morning Yoga sessions on the rooftop with stunning beach and sea views, along with weekly beach runs and more. We are also offering 5 to 10 days retreat programs for individuals and groups that incorporate daily physical activities, meditations, yoga, nutritious meals and cultural outings to Bali’s iconic sites. Recently, we hosted several groups from Singapore and Australia, and all participants left Secana Beachtown with wonderful feedback and praise.

LLA: With the business center offering modern facilities, Secana Beachtown caters to both leisure and business travelers. How do you accommodate business guests while maintaining the relaxed, beachside charm of the resort?

SC: Secana primarily targets business travelers in medium and long-term stays, digital nomads, and those in staycation who want to blend leisure and businesses. Our exceptional co-working space, along with meeting and conference rooms, allows guests to effectively balance work and relaxation. We’re transforming Secana Beachtown into a business hub where individuals can connect for both business and leisure in Canggu. 

LLA: What future developments or initiatives can we expect from Secana Beachtown to further elevate its standing in the luxury resort market, both locally in Bali and globally?

SC: We are focusing on long-term villa rentals for families and enhancing children’s facilities both inside and outside the villas. Additionally, we are introducing butler services, and in-house chefs for personalized meal preparation in the villas. We are continually exploring new ideas and concepts to enhance our services and facilities, ensuring that we remain one of the best and most unique Resort and residences in Bali.
