An example of Ewan’s Mixed-Use Development is the award-winning project of Al Zahiyah Waterfront Development.  The project enjoys a strategic plot on Al Zahiyah Waterfront near the Navy Gate; an important landmark of Abu Dhabi’s urban history. It is also centrally located at the crossroad of major developments including Abu Dhabi’s existing downtown area and the new growth areas of Al Maryah, Al Reem, and Saadiyat Islands.

The design emphasizes a sustainable approach, iconic building, and on maximum return on investment by having a proper mix of functions compatible with the location, market trend, and financial viability.  In addition to the basement, the project consists of a podium that accommodates, various parking areas, retail, F&B strip, and townhouses above overlooking the promenade and the sea. On Top of the podium, two residential towers rise up to 25 floors providing various flat types.  There are also 3 floating F&B that can be reached by pontoons from the promenade.

The Architecture abstracts many references from the site’s natural environment and most importantly relates the project to the sea at all levels.  It intends to develop a high-standard distinguishable project reflecting the delicate balance of drama & simplicity, to provide a contemporary setting for great vistas of the Abu Dhabi waterfront overlooking Al Mariyah and Al Reem Islands. The project was sculpted to take the maximum benefits from the site location, its historic back­ground, and its proximity to the sea, as well as to provide a landmark where the ingredients of simplicity and innovation are creatively orchestrated.
