Most construction disputes in Dubai come down to one question: who checks the checker. DMDC Group answers it in an unusual way. The group pays for a fifth company, DMDC Project Management, whose only job is to review the work of the other four. Inside the group, it has a simpler name: the referee we pay for ourselves.
The team treats DMDC Design & Architecture, DMDC Contracting, DMDC Woodworks and DMDC Estates as third parties. It reports to the founder rather than to any of them, and it can hold a project stage closed against the group’s own programme until the work meets the standard. Findings are raised in writing and shared with the client.
The structure exists because the group builds with its own money as well as for clients. DMDC Estates has developed four houses for the group’s own portfolio, with a combined completion value of AED 167 million, and the same inspection regime applies whether the owner is a client or DMDC itself. A firm that publishes findings against its own contractor has a strong reason to build right the first time.
The approach has carried the group to more than 350 delivered projects since its founding in 2021, over AED 220 million signed in the past ten months, and five industry awards across 2025 and 2026, including two Luxury Lifestyle Awards 2026 for Aseel Villa in Arabian Ranches.
“Promises come easily in this market. Delivery does not. Paying a team to find our own mistakes before the client does is the cheapest quality system we know.” Raji Daou, Founder and CEO, DMDC Group
