There’s a stylish new offering on Singapore’s boutique hotel front with the opening of SO/ Singapore in December 2021. The palatial VIP suites are designed in the style of the grand Parisian-style apartments with 92 square metres of living space decorated in sophisticated shades of white, beige and taupe with injections of vibrant shades introduced through the soft furnishings. Spacious en-suite marble bathrooms with rain showers complete the accommodation picture. 

There’s also plenty to be discovered in the communal spaces. Xperience is an all-day cafe, restaurant and bar serving up tempting breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner with a combination of set menus and a la carte. Culinary designer Hong Dingzhao serves up an array of tempting international dishes that change seasonally using the tasty, fresh local produce available. A magnificent 20-foot Molten Oven dominates the centre of the restaurant and guests can watch their dishes being prepared in front of their eyes. They can also enjoy hand-picked wine pairings designed specially by the restaurant’s experienced resident sommelier. The restaurant’s sumptuous new takeaway and delivery service includes an all-new range of bento boxes, family-style brunch, a Polish-Singapore fusion menu and bottled cocktails from the hotel’s bar 1927, as well as a Raid the Cellar wine sale. 

For other refreshment options the hotel’s deluxe rooftop bar 1927 also offers great views and the chance to relax by the infinity pool with its comfortable sun loungers and a DJ Deck for entertainment. And guests can enjoy a delightful array of signature cocktails and mocktails all mixed by the hotel’s team of talented award-winning mixologists. These can all be served teamed with the chef’s selection of small and large plates and modern tapas.
