In 2025, Ramy Boutros Architects has earned its position among the TOP 100 Interior Designers of the World, an honor granted by Luxury Lifestyle Awards. The studio’s philosophy is summed up in the words of founder Ramy Boutros, who explains: “I see movement in every texture, life in every stone, warmth in every metal, and a dance in every fabric. I see realization in dreams, and dreams inside empty spaces coming to life. I believe that luxury lies within comfort, and comfort within luxury… Our designs breathe life into spaces, embedding a story inside every project.” This guiding perspective shapes every interior the firm creates.

Headquartered in Beirut, the studio navigates residential, hospitality, commercial, and product design, including furniture and jewelry, with a focus on creating spaces that feel personal, lived in, and visually engaging.
Rather than following a single aesthetic direction, the firm prioritizes atmosphere, how materials, textures, and objects influence mood, comfort, and sensory experience. Founder Ramy Boutros leads the practice with an understanding that design should reflect both the client’s aspirations and the cultural context of the project.

Ramy Boutros Architects is known for interiors where texture, color, and natural materials work together to shape character. Wood, stone, metal, and fabric are treated not merely as finishes, but as expressive elements that contribute to the identity of a space.
Light plays a crucial role across the studio’s projects, guiding the overall feel and influencing how materials come to life throughout the day. The team’s approach often combines refined simplicity with unexpected accents, vintage finds, personal objects, or artisanal pieces to create depth and individuality.

The BT Bizri Apartment in Lebanon, completed in 2024, is a defining example of the studio’s philosophy. The homeowner envisioned a place filled with sunlight and warmth, with wood playing a central role in shaping the environment.
The design introduces a wrapped-wood interior, covering both walls and ceilings in light-toned timber to create a calm, enclosed feel. This “box effect” supports a sense of comfort and intimacy, while the large windows allow daylight to become an active design element. Throughout the home, eclectic furnishings, textiles, and personal pieces enrich the space without overwhelming its simplicity.
The result is a residence that feels expressive, grounded, and inviting, an interpretation of the client’s lifestyle brought to life through material warmth and thoughtful layout.

At the St. Regis Hotel in Muscat, the studio approached the design of Em Sherif Restaurant with an aim to honor the brand’s identity while responding to the coastal environment of Oman.
A palette of blues and whites reflects the sea and sky, helping the interior feel fresh and open. Custom Moucharabieh screens, patterned surfaces, and handmade accents refer to regional heritage, while modern forms and generous glazing keep the space contemporary. The outdoor terraces and winter garden extend the dining experience into different seasonal settings, inviting guests to explore the space beyond its interior.
This project exemplifies the studio’s ability to interpret cultural influences thoughtfully while maintaining a clear, modern narrative.

In addition to its architectural and interior design work, Ramy Boutros Architects channels its creative energy into furniture and jewelry collections that echo the same poetic sensibility. Through the pieces, the studio marries wearable art with architectural awareness, offering clients not only spaces to inhabit but objects to treasure, each design bearing a fragment of Ramy Boutros’s vision and the distinct personality of the wearer.

Several qualities distinguish Ramy Boutros Architects within the global design landscape:
As the studio explores new territories and unique commissions, its core philosophy remains unchanged: to breathe life into interiors, honor the essence of material, and reveal stories that connect people to the spaces they inhabit.
