Boticas Hotel Art & Spa – History, Art and Luxury

The hotel was opened in July 2014, and today boasts luxurious, comfortable rooms, activities, and experiences to suit a range of guests. The hotel is situated next to the Nadir Afonso Arts Center and is placed in a space marked by unparalleled natural beauty. The hotel has many experiences available to guests including the Spa & Health Club, where guests can enjoy the Jacuzzi, steam room, Turkish bath, indoor pool, gym, and outdoor with panoramic views. Boticas Hotel Art & Spa also hosts various events and celebrations, such as weddings, conferences, and meetings. They provide a multipurpose hall and an auditorium with a capacity of 110 seats, within the Arts Center. 

The hotel provides a vast array of vouchers in the form of experiences, which guests can indulge in and enjoy. Amongst these are a romantic dinner for 2, which includes colorful flavors you’ll never forget; 5 o’clock tea; a Vichy shower, which is a 40-minute treatment that combines manual massage techniques with hot water jets over the entire body; ‘Experience Two’, which is 80-minutes long and is based on a two-part ritual that includes a foot exfoliation and a relaxing massage with heated sweet almond oil and ‘The Ritual of Comfort’, which includes a massage and foot reflexology. It consists of the stimulation of reflex points through specific pressure points in the feet, preventing injuries and relaxing internal organs. It also includes a full-body relaxation massage. Vouchers are able to be tailored, with guests having the option of buying vouchers valued at €50, €100 or €150.

The Peneda-Gerês National Park is 34 km away and the border with neighboring Spain is only 31 km away. Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, in Porto, is a 90-minute drive from Boticas Hotel.
