Wossa Crowned Best Premium Water in Austria by Luxury Lifestyle Awards

Premium Water in Austria

Luxury Lifestyle Awards, the world’s leading authority on recognizing excellence in luxury goods and services, is thrilled to announce Wossa, the Austrian natural spring water, as a winner in the category of Best Premium Water in Austria.

Wossa hails from the heart of the Lavant Valley in Carinthia, Austria, nestled amidst breathtaking mountains at an elevation of 1110 meters. Here, surrounded by hard marble rock, Wossa filters naturally for years, acquiring its exceptionally soft and pure character. This unique environment shapes Wossa’s distinct taste profile, characterized by its lightness, freshness, and youthfulness.

Wossa sets itself apart with an incredibly low total dissolved solids (TDS) of just 13mg/l. This minimal minerality makes Wossa remarkably light on the palate, unlike many spring waters burdened by excessive minerals. Naturally occurring minerals like calcium, magnesium, and bicarbonates contribute to Wossa’s refreshing taste and delicate balance.

The water remains untouched by artificial filtration processes, ensuring its natural taste is preserved. Bottled by hand directly at the source in a small, custom-built facility, Wossa embodies the essence of artisanal water production. Here, gravity guides the spring water into the bottling facility, eliminating the need for mechanical pumps.

Wossa goes beyond mere hydration, offering a complete sensory experience. The water’s personality shines through its first-person communication, inviting consumers to connect with its youthful and fresh character. The sleek, thick glass bottle, adorned with a wooden cap and paper label, adds a touch of sophistication and complements the tactile experience of pouring Wossa.

The company prioritizes environmental responsibility by shunning plastic entirely. The water is offered exclusively in glass bottles and, more recently, recycled aluminum cans.

Sourced from a protected spring nestled on a 300-year-old homestead, Wossa’s heritage is deeply rooted in sustainable practices. The land surrounding the spring has been untouched by cultivation for generations and is meticulously managed according to ecological and biological principles.

“Winning this award is a tremendous honor for the entire Wossa team,” says Rainer Hofmeister, CEO of Wossa. “It validates our dedication to sharing the unique taste of Austria’s most valuable natural treasures. We are committed to providing a luxurious and sustainable water experience that elevates every sip.”

Wossa’s triumph at the Luxury Lifestyle Awards is a testament to its dedication to exceptional quality, unparalleled taste, and unwavering commitment to sustainability. Every sip of Wossa is a journey to the heart of the Austrian Alps, a refreshing and luxurious experience for all.
