Luxury Lifestyle Awards Honors DiA | Design-Itude Associates for Best Luxury Restaurant Interior Design for Tobis African Restaurant

Luxury Lifestyle Awards is proud to announce that DiA | Design-Itude Associates has been named a Winner of the prestigious award in the category of Best Luxury Restaurant Interior Design for their exceptional work on Tobis African Restaurant in South East England, UK. This accolade celebrates the firm’s dedication to creating inspiring, socially safe, and practical environments, a hallmark of their architectural and interior design expertise.

DiA | Design-Itude Associates, a full-service architectural and interior design studio, has once again demonstrated their commitment to excellence with the renovation of Tobis African Restaurant. From the initial concept development to the final execution, DiA has transformed the space into a vibrant culinary sanctuary that seamlessly blends African vibrancy with contemporary elegance.

The client’s vision for Tobis African Restaurant was to create a dining experience that not only tells a story of joy, warmth, and celebration of life but also honors African heritage. DiA met this challenge head-on, designing a space that features vibrant colors inspired by African landscapes and culture, traditional patterns, and cultural motifs. The monochrome chevron tiles on the floor are reminiscent of traditional African designs, while custom neon fixtures add a modern twist, casting a vibrant glow and positive messages such as “ENJOY TODAY.”

The restaurant’s interior is adorned with African-inspired artwork and decor pieces, enhancing the cultural ambiance. The diverse and bespoke furniture selection includes various styles of seating upholstered in rich velvet hues of orange, blue, and grey. This mix of seating options caters to different preferences and adds visual interest, while black marble tables provide a touch of sophistication that contrasts beautifully with the colorful surroundings.

Lighting plays a pivotal role in setting the mood at Tobis African Restaurant. DiA’s design features LED fixtures that illuminate the space efficiently, while neon lighting fixtures suspended from the ceiling and walls infuse the atmosphere with energy and vitality. Indirect lighting on the walls adds depth and warmth, creating an inviting ambiance throughout the day and into the evening.

Sustainability is a key consideration in DiA’s design philosophy. For Tobis African Restaurant, they integrated eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient systems, aligning with contemporary values and trends. This commitment to environmental responsibility adds another layer of depth to the project’s narrative, making it a true testament to the seamless fusion of culture, creativity, and craftsmanship.

DiA | Design-Itude Associates’ recognition by Luxury Lifestyle Awards for their work on Tobis African Restaurant underscores their ability to transform spaces into vibrant reflections of cultural identity and contemporary elegance. With this award, DiA continues to set benchmarks in the realm of luxury restaurant interior design, reinforcing its reputation as innovators dedicated to creating environments that inspire, resonate, and endure.
