The Inspiration Journey and Architectural Mastery of Melissa Corbett and Daniela Gauch

More than two decades ago, architects and interior designers Melissa Corbett and Daniela Gauch joined forces to establish Studio Corbett+Gauch Architecture and Interiors in Alphaville, São Paulo, Brazil. Their mission: to breathe life into client dreams by solving problems and adding enduring value.

United by a passion for architecture, a dedication to their craft, and a wealth of combined knowledge, Corbett and Gauch weave their expertise into every project, be it residential, commercial, or corporate. Their keen aesthetic sense leans towards contemporary design, but their true focus is on creating cost-effective solutions that embrace creative innovation for the modern era.

The key to their success? A thorough hands-on approach. From initial concept to final execution, they personally shepherd each project, wielding resourcefulness, confidence, and a talent for creating ingenious solutions.

For Melissa Corbett and Daniela Gauch, architecture is a vibrant tapestry woven from multiple disciplines. They see themselves as the bridge between a client’s aspirations and the tangible space that embodies those dreams. Aesthetics are crucial, but so too are functionality, environmental considerations, and legal compliance. Ultimately, their focus is exceeding client expectations while delivering a flawless final product.

The studio’s philosophy embraces the idea that simplicity and sustainability can co-exist with luxury and sophistication. Their portfolio showcases projects that seamlessly blend design, well-being, practicality, and timeless elegance. They delve into each client’s unique needs, transforming the challenges inherent in every project into bespoke, singular architectural experiences that elevate the way we live and work.

Even though the two designers have established their own studios, the brilliance and success of their partnership endures. The fruits of their collaboration continue to blossom, with the studio garnering numerous prestigious awards, as well as being elected Outstanding Professionals for 12 consecutive years. Their consistent belief in the power of simple, effortless, and enjoyable design continues to shape their vision for the future of architecture.

This revised version streamlines the text, improves flow, and avoids repetition. It also emphasizes the key points of the studio’s philosophy and achievements.

Melissa Corbett brings a wealth of experience to the table. Graduating in both Architecture and Urbanism (Faculdade de Belas Artes, 1994) and Interior Design (Escola Panamericana de Artes, 1993), Melissa’s commitment to lifelong learning is evident in her participation in lectures, congresses, and industry fairs – both in Brazil and abroad. As Mel says, “We can never stop learning.”

Today, Melissa leads her own architecture studio, where she prioritizes good design, attention to detail, and catering to the individuality of each client. Her expertise, encompassing both technical and practical knowledge, allows her to transform spaces into dream realities with unique designs.

Daniela Gauch has a passion for design. Having graduated in Architecture from the University of Miami (2003) and Interior Design from Escola Panamericana de Artes (2008), Daniela boasts over 20 years of experience in the field. In this new chapter of her career, Daniela leads her own architectural studio, where her projects showcase a deep connection to architectural features. She strives for a minimalist and sophisticated approach, ensuring functionality and uniqueness in each space, while leaving her signature touch.

Daniela emphasizes a holistic approach, her goal has always been to provide a complete service as an architectural concierge, providing a distinguished experience to clients throughout the design and construction process. My focus is to ensure that they live an exclusive, unique and pleasurable experience,” Daniela says.

As both successful professionals continue on their respective paths, their joint and shared success with Studio Corbett+Gauch Architecture and Interiors continues to live on with their individual studios. Luxury Lifestyle Awards proudly awards both ladies the title of Best Luxury Residential Architect Studio in Brazil for their impressive, outstanding, and lavish projects.
