Armed with a passion for design and a formal education in Interior Design from Laselle College of Arts Singapore and Goldsmith University of London, he embarked on a journey to redefine luxury interior design. 

Crafting 3-Dimensional Art in Every Home

The award-winning ‘In Cocoon’ project, aptly named by its architect, is a testament to Aesthete’s commitment to preserving the essence of original architectural design. The three individual cocoons, stacked and laid, form the core of this residential space. Aesthete’s designers seamlessly integrated the façade material into the interior, creating a sense of continuity and harmony throughout the space. 

One of the standout features of ‘In Cocoon’ is the basement, which houses an F1 gallery. This space is envisioned as an extension of the car park area, with gallery niches that seamlessly blend into the car park’s back walls. The strategic use of red tones complements the displayed F1 Ferrari, while the whitewashed space ensures that the accolades take center stage. The off-form concrete wall adds a subtle balance to the overall walk-in experience from the main entrance. 

Moving upward in the house, Aesthete’s designers tailored each room to meet the unique needs and personalities of the family members. The design language remains consistent throughout the house, with carefully placed feature shelves adding a touch of individuality to each child’s room. 

In the master bedroom, Aesthete’s designers achieved a clean and unified expression that aligns seamlessly with the rest of the house. Custom-detailed, two-layered strips tiered at different depths create a repeated pattern along the long elevation of the room. The addition of fabric bedheads introduces softness to the design, elegantly complemented by light-toned carpets in contrast to the dominant dark scheme. 

The intricate, impeccable project is due to be completed in November 2023. 

Sustainable Luxury

Aesthete Interior Design goes beyond aesthetics; they also prioritize sustainability in their projects. ‘In Cocoon’ is equipped with solar panels and features home automation in the master bedroom and basement (for lighting only). Power-saving LED lights are used throughout the house, reducing energy consumption and minimizing the carbon footprint.
