Susana Balbo Wines is a family owned winery dedicated to making high quality wines, located in Mendoza, Argentina, in the foothills of the Andes Mountains.

It was founded in 1999 by Susana Balbo, Argentina’s first female winemaker, who is known for her innovative winemaking and leadership in the industry.

With an intrepid and entrepreneurial spirit, Susana Balbo Wines is synonymous with innovation, excellence, sustainability and the art of creating wines of outstanding quality. Since creating the first world-class Torrontés in the early 1980s in Cafayate, in the Salta province, to the present day at the foot of the Andes in Mendoza, Susana Balbo’s vision has forged a path that has positioned us at the pinnacle of wine producers.

That passion has spanned generations, passed to her children Ana and José, along with a nearly hundred-strong team that completes the family.
