Suertes del Marqués, founded in 2006 by the García Lima family and led by Jonatan García Lima, is a renowned winery in the Canary Islands. Known for its organic farming practices and commitment to expressing the volcanic terroir, the winery produces a range of wines that reflect the unique characteristics of the region. Their vines, which are cultivated using the traditional “cordón trenzado” training system, are mostly ungrafted and include a wide variety of indigenous grapes.

The winery offers three categories of wines. The first are Villa Wines or blended wines, which include varieties from multiple plots. Among these are 7 Fuentes, a blend of Listán Negro and Castellana Negra from 35 different plots, and Trenzado, a white wine made primarily from Listán Blanco. Another standout is Hacienda Las Cañas, made with Listán Negro.

The Parcela Wines come from specific plots on their estate, such as La Solana and Candio, showcasing distinct terroirs. Vidonia, for example, hails from vines over a century old and is made from ungrafted white varieties.

Suertes del Marqués also offers special vinifications, including limited-edition wines such as Suertes del Marqués Fortificado and Edición 1 red and white, both produced using traditional methods.

Their wines are exclusively available in fine restaurants and wine shops around the world, including over 300 Michelin-starred establishments. Suertes del Marqués has also been recognized for its excellence, winning an award for Best Premium Organic Wine Brand in the Canary Islands in 2024, further highlighting their commitment to quality and sustainability in winemaking.
