With a young, dynamic, and experienced team, MCM Architecture & Design has successfully completed numerous national and international projects, leaving a mark on the architectural landscape.

At the helm of MCM Architecture & Design is Miguel Câncio Martins, a renowned Portuguese Architect and Interior Designer known for his notable projects worldwide. Graduating from the architecture school at St Luc in Brussels, Miguel began his career in Paris, where he made a name for himself by developing innovative restaurant concepts. His international recognition grew with iconic establishments like BARFLY, Buddha bar, Thiou, and Man Ray.

Over the years, Miguel expanded his creative vision to encompass various domains, including shops, hotels, nightclubs, and private homes. Notable works include the Conrad Resort in Algarve, The Hotel Heritage in Lisbon, and The Hotel W in Montréal. After living in Belgium and France, Miguel eventually settled in Portugal, where he opened the new office of Miguel Câncio Martins – Architecture & Design. Supported by a team of 20 associates, MCM Architects undertakes projects internationally and within Portugal, catering to multinational corporations, real estate investors, and individuals alike.

One of MCM Architecture & Design’s most esteemed achievements is the QUINTA DA COMPORTA – WELLNESS BOUTIQUE RESORT, which was honored with Best Luxury Hotel Architecture award by the Luxury Lifestyle Awards.
