The CASSIS is a world renowned restaurant that offers an impeccable, classic dining experience. Their delectable menu consists of a variety of contemporary European cuisines that are not only tantalizing to the taste buds but are also presented in an artful and eye-catching manner.  What tops this indulgent restaurant, is the carefully thought-out and meticulously planned interior aesthetics that Nevermore has brought to life. Nevermore, situated in Penang, Malaysia, is made up of a vibrant team of professional designers with a burning desire to meet every need of their clients. The team aims to mix their harmonious designs with the aesthetics of the surrounding nature in order to create a seamless flow throughout their entire design that produces a truly one-of-a-kind and breath-taking masterpiece.

Nevermore started their project on the CASSIS in 2022 and the restaurant was opened just twelve weeks later. It is almost impossible to think that one can produce such stylish elegance and beauty within a twelve-week timeline! Lead designer Chuah Say Yang wasted no time at the opportunity to take on this incredible project, and in doing so, has created an absolute classical work of art. The interior consists of a neutral palette of nudes, white and cream, complimented by a mix of tasteful décor consisting of sophisticated, cream-coloured banquets, custom pilasters, and white volakas marble floors. The beautiful organic-looking light fittings make quite a statement and certainly set the tone for a refined setting and peaceful ambiance. This is why, Luxury Lifestyle Awards are privileged to present Nevermore with an award in the category for Best Luxury Commercial Interior Design for the CASSIS Restaurant in Malaysia 2022.
