Founded by the imaginative designer Vicknesan, Aesthete Interior Design has been revolutionizing the art of interior design for the past five years. The company’s mission is to craft lifestyles and transform spaces through linear and uncluttered designs that breathe elegance and sophistication into every nook and cranny. 

This year, Luxury Lifestyle Awards selected the company as a winner in the category of Best Luxury Residential Interior Design in Singapore. The award has been bestowed upon Aesthete Interior Design in recognition of its remarkable work on  ‘In Cocoon’ located in Lentor Way, Singapore. 

The ‘In Cocoon’ project, also known as ‘Cocoons,’ was a harmonious collaboration between Aesthete Interior Design and the project’s architect. The design philosophy behind ‘Cocoons’ was to honor the original architectural vision, which featured three individual cocoons stacked and laid, creating a seamless blend of form and function. 

One of the standout features of the project is the basement, which houses an F1 gallery that seamlessly extends from the car park space. The gallery’s design, with its carefully selected red accents, pays homage to the displayed F1 Ferrari while providing an aesthetically pleasing backdrop for the client’s accolades. The off-form concrete wall adds a subtle balance to the overall walk-in experience from the main entrance. 

As you ascend through ‘Cocoons,’ each space is meticulously designed to meet the unique needs and preferences of its occupants. Aesthete Interior Design’s commitment to maintaining a consistent design language is evident throughout the residence, with personalized touches in each child’s room and the master bedroom. 

In the master bedroom, the design team’s ingenuity shines through, creating a unified space that conceals entrances to the walk-in wardrobe and study room. Custom-detailed 2-layered strips tiered at different depths along the room’s long elevation add a sense of depth and visual interest. Softness is introduced through fabric bedheads, harmonizing with the room’s overall color scheme and complemented by light-toned carpets. 

Aesthete Interior Design’s commitment to sustainability is an integral part of its design approach. ‘In Cocoon’ incorporates sustainable practices, including solar panels, home automation for lighting in the master bedroom and basement, and power-saving LED lights throughout the house.
