GS: My biggest piece of advice: Be bold. There aren’t many shy, successful real estate developers. When I first started out, I messaged Kobi Karp and told him that one day, I’d hire him to design a project for me. I doubt he thought much of it at the time. But a few years later, I did just that. We brought him on to collaborate with us on 21 Hollywood, and it remains one of the proudest moments of my career.
