This year Double V Space Interior Studio have been particularly noted for their work on Kaijin Chef Table in Bangkok. This unique private dining space is hidden within the successful seafood restaurant Vapor which is located in the gated community of Nichada Thani outside central Bangkok. The restaurant offers an intimate Omakase (Japanese Chef’s Table) experience in an elegant space with contemporary curved lines representing the crashing waves of the sea and evoking the feel of underwater dining. 

Accessed through a hidden glass door, the sleek marble sushi bar seats only 12 and offers expansive views out over the tranquility of the nearby lake. And it is here that chef Natakorn ‘Tum’ Changrew and his team showcase fish in a sea-to-table style that is caught almost entirely by them in Thailand’s waters. Adding up to a novel dining experience in a striking setting where all elements of the design come together to create a story beneath the sea. 

It is this incredible creativity and imagination that Double V Space Interior Studio have become famed for that has resulted in them being chosen by the panel of experts at Luxury Lifestyle Awards as the recipient of a prestigious award. This year they are a winner in the category of Best Luxury Commercial Interior Designer 2021 for Kaijin Chef Table in Thailand. A well-deserved accolade for the design of a truly exclusive and one-of-a-kind restaurant project.
